From the Legislation:
“For quality monitoring to ensure that each home energy efficiency retrofit for which a rebate is provided is documented in a certificate that —
- is provided by the contractor and certified by a third party to the homeowner; and
- details the work performed, the equipment and materials installed, and the projected energy savings or energy generation to support accurate valuation of the retrofit.”
Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit
- Annual Limit: $1,200
- Up to 30% of qualifying energy efficiency project cost
- $150 for a home energy audit
Home Owner Managing Energy Savings Rebate Program
- Limit: $2,000 – $4,000
- Larger rebates for higher energy saving projects
- Available to All Homeowners
High-Efficiency Electric Home Rebate Program
- Limit: $1,600
- Single/Multi Family rebates available for families at or below 150% Area Median Income
